George L. Strasser
George L. Strasser joined the firm of White | Canepa LLP, in 2016, after working more than 40 years with the Fresno firm of Baker Manock & Jensen. George specializes in the representation of physicians before the Medical Board of California, and in the representation of other licensed health care professionals.
Mr. Strasser began the practice of law in 1975. Mr. Strasser has extensive experience in defending physicians before the Medical Board of California, and in defending other health care professionals before their respective licensing boards. He also has experience representing physicians in peer review disputes and in disputes about treatment of Medicare patients. Mr. Strasser has also defended many physicians in medical malpractice cases, and he has served as an arbitrator and mediator of personal injury and business cases. He has served as a hearing officer in hospital peer review actions. He has assisted the Fresno County Superior Court by serving as a pro tempore settlement conference judge.

Mr. Strasser is a member of the California Academy of Attorneys for Health Care Professionals, the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada, the Leadership Fresno Alumni Association, the Fresno County Bar Association (Board of Directors (1996-1998), Treasurer (1999), the California Bar Association. In addition, Mr. Strasser for twelve years was a member of the Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau of the San Joaquin Valley (1998-2010, Chairman of the Board, 2003).
Mr. Strasser has attained the peer reviewed status of AV-Preeminent from the Martindale-Hubbell organization, which is its highest level of professional excellence.
