After a two-week jury trial, White | Canepa attorneys secured a unanimous verdict in favor of their client, a local neurosurgeon.
The plaintiff in the case was a 70-year old physician with a history of spinal problems. Following the subject surgery, Plaintiff demonstrated neurologic deficits and was returned to surgery to revise the hardware and to reposition a pedicle screw. He continued to have neurologic deficits, including a foot drop. At trial, White | Canepa’s attorneys were able to establish that the neurosurgeon’s care and treatment was within the applicable standard of care.
