Karen J. Ray
Karen J. Ray focuses on civil defense litigation, including medical malpractice and insurance defense matters.
Prior to attending law school, she was a licensed insurance agent and registered representative and owned a full service insurance agency in the Central Valley. In law school, Ms. Ray served as the Editor-in-Chief of the San Joaquin Agricultural Law Review. After earning her license in 2010, she began her practice representing and defending physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice defense matters as well as business entities in insurance defense matters.
She has since served as second-chair in several jury trials resulting in defense verdicts. From simple slip and fall cases to more complex medical malpractice litigation involving numerous healthcare defendants, Ms. Ray has developed the necessary skills to defend her clients effectively.
